General Terms & Conditions – Your Prettiness
1. General
These terms and conditions apply to every offer, treatment, and transaction between Your Prettiness and a client, insofar as both parties have not explicitly and in writing deviated from them.
2. Effort by the Beautician
The beautician will carry out treatments to the best of their knowledge and ability, in accordance with professional standards and current scientific insights. The beautician will, as much as reasonably possible, inform the client of any financial implications if a treatment is modified or extended.
3. Appointments
- The client must report any inability to attend an appointment as soon as possible, and no later than 24 hours in advance, by phone or email.
- If this obligation is not met, the salon may charge the full fee for the scheduled treatment.
- If the client arrives more than 5 minutes late, the treatment duration may be shortened without fee reduction.
- If the client arrives more than 15 minutes late, the beautician reserves the right to cancel the appointment.
- The beautician must also notify the client of any appointment changes at least 24 hours in advance.
- Both parties are exempt from these rules in the case of force majeure (e.g., illness, strike, or emergencies).
- The complimentary welcome treatment is free as a service, but a fee of €15 will be charged if the client does not show up.
4. Payment
- Prices for treatments and products are clearly displayed at the salon and include VAT.
- Price changes will be announced on the website at least 30 days in advance.
- Special offers are valid for the indicated period or while supplies last.
- Payment is required immediately after the treatment or purchase of products.
5. Personnel
- The beautician has the right to delegate tasks to qualified staff without prior notice to the client.
- Clients may not directly or indirectly employ salon staff within one year of their last treatment without written consent.
6. Personal Data & Privacy
- Clients must provide all relevant data prior to treatment.
- Your Prettiness complies with GDPR (AVG) regulations and protects all personal data.
- Data will not be sold or rented to third parties.
- Data is stored digitally (Salonized) and/or on paper and will only be deleted upon client request.
7. Confidentiality
- The beautician is obliged to maintain confidentiality regarding any personal or sensitive information shared by the client.
- This obligation lapses only if legally required to share the information.
8. Liability
- The salon is not liable for damage resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client.
- The salon is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
9. Damage & Theft
- The salon reserves the right to seek compensation from clients who damage furniture, equipment, or products.
- All cases of theft will be reported to the police.
10. Complaints
- Complaints must be reported in writing within five working days to the salon owner or stylist.
- The salon will respond within five working days.
- If the complaint is valid, the treatment will be redone unless deemed pointless by the client.
11. Conduct
- Clients are expected to behave in accordance with generally accepted norms.
- Repeated inappropriate behavior may result in refusal of further service.
12. Promotions / Discounts / Vouchers
- All promotions and offers are limited to one-time use per client.
- Only one voucher per client is allowed.
- Vouchers may not be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated.
13. Legal
- Dutch law applies to all agreements between Your Prettiness and the client.
- In case of legal interpretation, the Dutch version of these terms takes precedence.
- The most recently published version always applies.
14. Facial Treatment Subscriptions
14.1 General
- Subscriptions are personal and non-transferable.
- Can be adjusted at any time.
- One-month cancellation notice required. A final billing will be calculated accordingly.
- Prices are reviewed annually; changes will be communicated in advance.
- Treatments are scheduled every 6 weeks. Adjustments allowed due to vacation or illness (up to 2 weeks earlier or 4 weeks later).
- Clients are advised to schedule their next treatment promptly.
- Missing scheduled treatments forfeits them; they do not carry over.
- Subscriptions starting from €42.75/month include 2 seasonal treatments per year instead of standard ones.
- Early termination before one year forfeits eligibility for seasonal treatments.
- Final billing will reflect under- or overpayments.
14.2 Payments
- Payments are via monthly automatic direct debit (around the 1st of each month).
- Failed payments incur administrative fees.
- Benefits will be paused if payments are overdue.
- Refunds are not available; chargebacks also incur €5 admin fees.
14.3 Illness
- Appointments can be rescheduled due to illness, ideally 24 hours in advance.
- In case of long-term illness (3+ months), please contact the salon.
15. Free Welcome Facial
- The same cancellation rules apply to this appointment.
- A €15 fee is charged for no-shows.
